Ad’iyah - Reproductive Justice Collective

Providing love, dua and support for Muslim folk during their pregnancy ending journeys (abortion, miscarriage and stillbirth).

Dua is a fundamental part of being Muslim.

We ask for dua from our loved ones and from our Ummah continuously throughout our lives. Dua is for positive, negative and indifferent experiences. Dua meets people where they are and asks what it is they need for the future. Dua is also a way we thank Allah for the relief and help and infinite love They provide.

We believe that we should be able to ask our community for support in all of our experiences and that pregnancy endings are examples of these experiences.

Community spaces

At Ad’iyah, we want to reimagine what it means to have an abortion because we believe abortion experiences can be so much better than they currently are.

We value the power of coming together and holding space, utilising this space for whatever way is helpful for us. As Muslims, coming together and making dua is a core part of faith.

In its purest essence, this is what Ad’iyah is: community dua that can turn turn into community love and support.
