Support locations: Virtual and New York City, USA
Language(s): English, Hindi and Urdu
Zoya is a South Asian, queer, Muslim community organizer and cultural worker based in New York City, committed to creating spaces that center healing, faith, and collective power. Her journey into birthwork began in 2021 through supporting survivors of gender-based violence at Asiyah Women’s Center. Since then, she has trained to offer care as an abortion doula, grounding her approach in deep presence and tenderness.
She offers both emotional and logistical support throughout your experience, whether that means navigating appointments, holding space, or simply being present. She creates compassionate environments, virtual or in person where care, trust, and groundedness are prioritized. In conversation with her, you’ll explore what continued support can look like for you, on your terms, at your pace.
Outside of doula work, she is the founder of Queer Muslims of New York, a growing collective that fosters belonging and celebration through community gatherings and mutual care.
