Dua for Laylat al-Qadr
Ya Allah (swt), we pray for oppressed peoples around the world to see their day of freedom and relief.
May the communities experiencing war and bombardment draw from your strength to experience days of peace, for you are the most Just, the giver of Justice, the Guardian and the Giver of Peace, and may we become tangible actors in support of such days inshallah.
We pray for ease from our struggles, and the clarity and resilience to continue down the path that brings us closer to you, the Merciful and Sustainer.
We beseech you in your name, the All Forgiving, to pardon our sins and help us see our wrongs, to improve ourselves daily, and to help us strengthen our connection to you, for you are the most Loving, and we are but your loving subjects.
We ask for the protection of our loved ones, near and far, and ask that you grant them ease in their matters, and hear their prayers.
Please help us to soften our hearts to those in need and in community with us, and strenghten it against those who seek to harm your creation, and may our lives be a testament to our willingness to live and give our lives in your way.
On this holiest of nights, we pray that you accept our acts of worship this month, and that we see another Ramadhan to better devote ourselves to you.
We ask for guidance in gaining a true understanding of Islam and of your word, and in becoming even a slight embodiment of your attributes, to emulate your kindness and generosity, and to become true believers ready for the day of reckoning and Imam Mahdi (atfs).
Ya Allah, thank you for all that you have provided us, and for bringing us this community.
Please watch over us and bestow upon us and our loved ones your blessings.
Ameen.
