My name is Hanan. I‘m a Queer, Genderqueer, Disabled Doula & abortion facilitator. I recently relocated to Minneapolis, MN for grad school, from Madison, WI, but provide virtual support for people from all over.
I have been a sexual/reproductive health & rights educator since high school. I worked in nursing during the COVID pandemic, including two years as a Postpartum Nursing Technician. I have a degree in Public Health (promotion & equity) as well as a certificate in women & gender studies from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I will be graduating from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2026 with my Masters in Nursing, hoping to pursue advanced practice in Nurse Midwifery or Women’s/Gender-related health.
I am a free (pro-bono) full-spectrum doula and abortion facilitator. I love providing education on sex/reproduction, abortion, pregnancy & childbirth. I spent much of the year post-Dobbs, when abortion was illegal in Wi, providing free training on self-managed abortion to my community.
Because I am a full-time student, I have limited capacity for abortion support/doula services. I am also not an abortion provider (yet!) but I am happy to help facilitate abortion care in any way I am able-- providing education about SMA and how to access abortion medication, help coordinate transportation, emotional support during pregnancy release, etc. If you aren’t sure if I can help you, feel free to ask! If I can’t, I‘m happy to give referrals or connect you with someone who can help.
I can’t wait to meet you!
